To make a basic shake, simply blend or stir one serving of Formula 1 with 300 mls of nonfat milk or your favorite beverage until smooth. Key Benefits

You are encouraged to make your Formula 1 shakes in a variety of ways. As you can see from the recipes listed below, nonfat milk, fresh fruits, juices, extracts, and even decaffeinated coffee can be added to the Formula 1 powder to make different and tasty shakes. Banana and Honey Breakfast Smoothie (Serves 2 )

  • 250 ml skimmed milk or soy milk
  • 250 ml low fat yogurt
  • 2 dessertspoons of crushed ice
  • 1 teaspoon of honey
  • 1 banana
  • 4 dessert spoons of Vanilla Formula 1
  • Whiz in blender until smooth

Pineapple, Apricot and Yoghurt Smoothie

  • 6 stoned dried apricots (soaked overnight)
  • 250 ml fresh pineapple pieces
  • 300 ml plain, low fat yogurt
  • 4 dessert spoons Tropical Fruit Formula 1
  • Whiz in blender until smooth

Fruit Juicy Shake

  • 1 serving of Strawberry Formula
  • 1 250ml semi-skimmed milk
  • 1 cup strawberries
  • 1/2 grapefruit
  • 4-6 ice cubes (optional)

  • 1 serving of Chocolate Formula 1

  • 3 ice cubes (optional)

Watermelon Shake

  • 1 serving of Vanilla Formula 1

  • 1 cup cantaloupe melon

Fruit Salad Shake

  • Chop fresh fruit of choice into fruit salad
  • 2 dessert spoons of Formula 1 – choose your favourite flavour
  • 1 dessert spoon of fruit muesli
  • 250 ml fruit or plain yogurt
  • Fold Formula 1, yogurt and muesli together. Add a little milk for smooth consistency
  • Spoon over the fresh fruit

Herbalife Strawberry Parfait
Enjoy your shake as a delicious spoon-able desert!
Ingredients:

  • 2 scoops French Vanilla Formula 1 Nutritional Shake Mix
  • 3 tablespoons Formula 3 Personalized Protein Powder
  • 1 6-ounce carton strawberry-flavored fat-free yogurt
  • 1 cup strawberries
  • 4 ice cubes

 

Note: For a less pudding-like consistency, add 1/4 cup nonfat milk and Formula 3 Personalized Protein Powder in the blender first, then add other ingredients and continue blending.
Directions:
Place all ingredients in the blender and mix thoroughly until the ice cubes are completely crushed. Ice cubes are optional.

Herbalife Banana bread shake recipe

Don’t slice this dessert treat, slurp it!


Ingredients:

  • 1 cup plain soy milk or nonfat milk
  • 2 scoops French Vanilla Formula 1 Nutritional Shake Mix
  • 2 tablespoons Formula 3 Personalized Protein Powder (or more)
  • 1/2 very ripe banana
  • 1/8 teaspoon black-walnut flavoring
  • A few drops vanilla extract
  • 1 dash cinnamon
  • 4 ice cubes

Directions:  Place all ingredients in the blender and mix thoroughly until the ice cubes are completely crushed. Ice cubes are optional.

Crispy Snack BarsMix together in microwave-safe bowl:
1/2 c. honey
1/2 c. low-fat peanut butter
1 tbsp. water
2 tsp. chocolate Formula 1Microwave on high for one minute. Mix until smooth. Add one cup of Formula 1, chocolate flavour. Add one cup of oatmeal and two cups of crisp rice cereal. Press into 8 x 8 inch pan and freeze for 30 minutes. Cut into eight equal portions.

1/3 cup nonfat dry milk powder
1 cup low-calorie cranberry juice
1 cup frozen mixed berries
A few drops vanilla extract
4 ice cubes

Directions:
Place all ingredients in the blender and mix thoroughly until the ice cubes are completely crushed. Ice cubes are optional.

Ingredients:

A few dashes each cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
